What was your first job in the meetings & events industry?
Executive Assistant to Senior VP of Sales

What’s the best part of your current job?
Meeting all the people in the tourism and hospitality industry and promoting our city, working with clients and continuing to learn and read about all the changes happening in the meetings industry.

What was your motivation for joining PCMA Gulf States?
Being able to network with others in the industry, access to the awesome educational materials and conferences in order to learn more.

Best kept secret in your city or area (hotel, venue, attraction, etc.)
Right now – Southern Junction. Awesome venue with a steakhouse and bar, live music and giant dance floor with old west ambiance, pool tables AND they have indoor grills that make the experience so much fun! It is truly a gem and won’t be a secret too long.

Favorite app, website or tech tool?
Smart Sheets – Best organizational software that I have found. It is user friendly and quick to learn, helps to get me and my team organized and provides reports. I use this for all my team projects and my own projects and timelines. I keep learning more tips and tricks and it just keeps getting better.

Desert island meal?
Tacos (breakfast, steak, fish, special ground beef, pork) – any way you make them or can top them!! Wow, I wish I was eating one right now.
