PCMA Gulf States Reception Kicks off 2021

Using their fingers and phones, participants in PCMA Gulf States Chapter’s first meeting in 2021 enjoyed guessing what each other was drawing as much as their own creation.

This activity, along with chapter information and group discussions highlighted Tuesday’s on-line reception held in conjunction with the 2021 PCMA Convening Leaders Conference.

New chapter president, Amy Brown welcomed the audience and, along with president-elect Amanda Wells, delivered the state of the chapter news, a 2020 recap, information on this year’s programming and the financial status of the chapter.

Fingers and phones took center stage after that as the company Piccles hosted an audience-engagement exercise where attendees were able to use their phones to draw pictures based on questions provided. Participants were drawing while also guessing what each other’s drawings were in real time leading to a hefty dose of fun and laughs.

Later, board treasurer Leah Stefanini led discussions on many topics during the social time as the group shared their experiences with the group.

Thanks to all the members who were able to attend, PCMA International and to Piccles for their contribution to the chapter event.
